Retirement Plan Advisor

Position Summary

Under the general direction of the President Retirement Plan Advisor (RPA) identifies and develops new business opportunities and prospects for retirement plan services.  RPA contacts decision makers and presents appropriate strategies.  RPA will provide on-going relationship between clients and Bukaty including monitoring client’s existing plans, investment options and other needs.  Works in conjunction with service team to provide high level of customer service and retain clients.

Essential Functions

  • Develop leads through cold calling, networking and client referrals. Convert leads to retirement plan clients.  Meet annual sales goals by advancing prospects through the opportunity pipeline to close business.
  • Work closely with the Portfolio Management Team to understand the BCFS investment philosophy and ensure that clients are provided with the best investment solutions.
  • Works in conjunction with service team on day-to-day client service, participant education meetings and materials, and conducting annual plan reviews
  • Consult with clients regarding plan needs, plan changes and amendments, make recommendations for plan changes when needed.
  • Work in conjunction with Plan Administration Specialist to explain testing requirements and make recommendations to help plans pass compliance tests.
  • Communicate with clients administrative issues, keep clients informed of recent industry trends

Wealth Management Advisor

The Wealth Management Advisor identifies and develops prospects for BCFS and converts them to clients.  Conducts educational meetings for the participants of existing retirement plan clients as well as one-on-one meetings.  Invests and manages client portfolios based on the BCFS investment philosophy.  Works in conjunction with service team to provide high level of service, retaining clients and getting client referrals.
