Client Relationship Manager (Kansas City)

Position Summary

Under the general direction of the Vice President of Client Services, provide a positive experience for retirement plan consulting clients through the development and maintenance of strong relationships with clients. Serve as a liaison between the plan sponsor, record-keeper and retirement plan consultant in order to resolve any plan administration or participant issues.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about client service and will use communication and relationship management skills to ensure an exceptional level of service.

Essential Functions

  • Act as primary plan sponsor contact for all day-to-day plan administration issues and requests. Follow through on all issues to satisfactory and timely resolution by coordinating with service providers, Retirement Plan Consultant and client.
  • Create and present materials for plan review meetings in conjunction with Retirement Plan Consultants

Position Summary

The Wealth Management Advisor identifies and develops prospects for BCFS and converts them to clients.  Conducts educational meetings for the participants of existing retirement plan clients as well as one-on-one meetings.  Invests and manages client portfolios based on the BCFS investment philosophy.  Works in conjunction with service team to provide high level of service, retaining clients and getting client referrals.

  • Conduct retirement plan participant education meetings; meet with individual participants; build relationships with participants and key employees.
  • Explain the value proposition of wealth management services to retirement plan participants. Qualify potential business leads.  Close qualified business.
  • Develop leads through cold calling, networking and client referrals. Convert leads to wealth management clients.  Meet annual sales goals by advancing prospects through the opportunity pipeline to close business.
